Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Gain is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not operate accounts, ask you to sign up, or run servers that collect your personal information. This policy explains exactly how Gain handles your data.

Your Workout Data

Your workouts, exercises, sets, and training programs are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData and synced across your devices through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit). This data lives in your personal iCloud and is accessible only to you, signed in with your Apple ID. We have no access to it. Some data, such as your exercise templates, is stored only on your device and is not synced.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Gain integrates with Apple Health to read and write body weight data so your weight history stays consistent across your apps. Gain only accesses Health data you explicitly authorize. This information is used solely within the app and to write entries you create — it is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties. You can review or revoke Gain's Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app.

No Tracking or Analytics

Gain does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not build profiles, track your behavior, or share data with data brokers or advertisers.

Data Controlled by Apple

iCloud, CloudKit, and Apple Health are services provided by Apple and governed by Apple's own privacy policy and security practices. Your use of these services through Gain is also subject to Apple's terms.
